I think Gwen's a star as it is but her solo career will make her a mega star. I love her new single from her cd . She has such a unique sound. I have always thought she was talented but i think she's just amazing and i'm so excited about her solo debut. The preformances i've seen so far her solo are amazing. I'd love to see her in concert. I looked and i didn't see any thread about her by self.

Can't wait for her cd!!!

Her new CD is awesome! I was wary of getting it after reading the reviews but I am so glad I did. I love every single track on it. My favorites are Hollaback Girl, Luxurious, Crash, and Serious. It is such a great CD to listen to in the car! Gwen is awesome in No Doubt and awesome solo too!

OMG I love Gwen Stefani. She is so awesome. I got to see her in concert last night at the Jingle Ball. It was so amazing. She is so talented. I need to get her new CD soon!

If you remember more electronic sounding 80's pop, that's what most of her album sounds like. Although the best song, imo Luxurious, samples B.I.G's "Big Poppa" which is just amazing. It's pretty good overall, there are some really clunkers but for the most part it sounds great. Plus there are some great lines on it like Crash:

"It's just such a trip how your still my speed racer...You got me so addicted just like a freebaser."

Or the line from Harajuka Girls that always gets a luagh from me:

"Just wait till you get your hands on L.A.M.B. Cause its? Super Kawaii! That means? Super Cute in Japanese!"



It's just a fun pop album which is nice. Her solo career could be really nice if she chooses to keep going.

Inner Fantasy

I want to like it, really I do. But it's such a crapshoot. "Waiting" is fantastic, so is "Cool", and some don't stand out like they should. And why, god, why would I want to hear hip-hop songs about how rich she is? It's confounding.

But all griping aside, when she hits her stride, she's eighties-tastic.

I really like some of her album, I like Hollaback girl a lot, crash is good, and I like her remix of rich girl, but it's not that different from the original version of it, but she and eve did a good job, i like it.
