Oh no, that sucks! But gotta respect her for doing what's right for her. I was at one of her first (if not the first) shows with Delain, when she was just covering and it's just been so great to see her and Charlotte on stage together. It's not too surprising when you think that she's had Delain, Purest of Pain and Mayan all on the go constantly for a few years now.



Still going to this though, haven't seen them in a while.

Who's the support for that tour? Has it been announced yet? I'm looking forward to my gig in October

I was blown away by the opening of the song, even the first time I still have the last album on the brain.. I didn't like it. There weren't any stand outs for me, so I will admit I let that cloud my judgement


Mariangela Demurtas' (Tristania) new project: Ardours. Not metal. I am so lazy, so I haven't really given this a good listen. But I'm glad to hear Mariangela again! When is that new Tristania album coming out?

I was about to say I don't think I've ever seen Merel with Delain, but apparently I have. I did when they opened for Nightwish on their EFMB tour, but I have no recollection of them opening It must be cuz Sonata Arctica made me forget.


Here's a new one for me:



Oceans of Slumber shared it so I checked it out. I didn't give it a proper listen, but it seemed decent! They have a new album coming out soon.

I listened to their first album and it was just okay. I did discover that she growls as well, which was a surprise! She does a pretty good job of it too! I hope the follow up will be better!

I treated myself to the 3 Epica albums that I don't own on vinyl yet (Consign to Oblivion, The Divine Conspiracy and Design Your Universe), should get them tomorrow. I'd still need the EPs and The Classical Conspiracy, but it's a start. Requiem for the Indifferent was the first vinyl I bought (at one of their gigs).

Not that often, but I like to add to it occasionally and remind myself what I have. they tried to deliver it after my workplace had closed, so maybe tomorrow.

Yes! This one!

Very pretty new vinyls I loved the pic with all of them in line! This reminds me that I don't own Design Your Universe. And Requiem for the Indifferent.
