So, probably indeed not gonna be my favorite song EVER, but I do really enjoy it. And the main melody IS really catchy to me  What I don't need in every Epica song is a catchy chorus. That's actually the one thing that has made me like the previous albums less than the older ones: the huge increase in catchy choruses. TQE is a great album, but one of the downsides for me was definitely the catchy chorus in every freakin' song I don't really see the big resemblance with Unchain Utopia though, except for the choir-led chorus-like-structure. I also really enjoy the atmosphere of the song, can't really explain why, but I guess everyone has that with a song and/or album sometimes  And I love the almost-2-minute-long intro I can definitely see this one becoming one of my favorites of this album Ofcourse depending on what the rest of the album will be like I do agree it's maybe a little long. Especially Simone's main verse is repeated a little often, even though I love the sound of it. ETA: I just started listening to it again (because I hadn't seen the lyrics video yet before now), and I actually also like how parts of it remind me of DYU, it has a bit of the same atmosphere, and that's still my favorite album __________________

The song's giving me high hopes for the album though  Like I said, it has a bit of that DYU feel to it, and I like that Just 2 more months!__________________

Haha, not particularly female fronted, but I do like Opeth
Haven't listened to their previous 2 albums though  whoops. Or well, I have listened to.. let's see.. Heritage, but wasn't really sold on that one. I should listen to Pale Communion at some point though. And their new album this year, of course! I love pretty much everything they did before Heritage Don't know why I kinda 'lost track' of them.. guess that was due to the Heritage album And it always takes a listens to even understand most of their tracks ETA: Ah, I like Sorceress! Definitely looking forward to the new Opeth album now __________________
