They've been a band for 7 years... 4 siblings and a neighbor.

Opened for Coldplay a couple years ago, recently opened for Brand New and Snow Patrol, and will finally be releasing their first full length LP on February 8th called "Room Noises"

Oh wow I'm so glad there's an Eisley appreciation thread! They are so great! They had a song that was really popular in the Dallas-Fort Worth area about a year ago, because they're from nearby Denton (I think). But for the life of me, I can't remember what the name of it was... Any clue?

Was the song Telescope Eyes? or Marvelous Things?

Excellent. Great these guys are getting recognition. I saw them open for Brand New and Hotrod Circuit two and a half years ago at the 9:30 Club -- it was love at first hear. Especially after I heard Jesse from BN speak so highly of them, namely Sherri (SO cute that they're dating ), I knew they were the real thing.

What are y'alls favorite songs?

Mine would be "Marvelous Things", "Tree Tops" and "Telescope Eyes", but everything they do is so unique and cool.

I can't wait for Room Noises to come out.

I LOVE Eisley. I'm glad there's thread for them. I had the privilege to talk to Jonathan, and he is an awesome, nice guy. I didn't even know he was my Xanga buddy! hahah.

Anyways, my favorite song is Marvelous Things, definitely. I love the vocals<3

The only song I've heard is 'Telescope Eyes'. It's quite nice. I'm not sure how much I like the singer's voice.
I'm really picky when it comes to female vocalists. I don't mind sweet sounding, but when they sound too sweet, I don't like it. And I think she borders on too sweet, in my opinion.

Their new album is in stores now!!! My favorites are Lost At Sea, Golly Sandra, Brightly Wound, Just Like We Do, Plenty Of Paper, ummm just the whole thing. Did anyone else get to listen to it yet?
