I love #5 and #7 the most. Those were two of my favorite scenes. Great icons!

in a very girlish voice: "I now declare this bridge... open"

My fave movie quotes are:

John: We know how to behave, we've had lessons.

Ringo: I'm going parading before it's too late!

(Ringo's hand is trapped in the sandwich dispenser)
Ringo: Hey someone's got hold of me finger! (me finger hahaha)
John: Are you trying to attract attention again?

John: I bet he hasn't even got a wife. look at his sweater.
Paul: You never know she might have knitted it.
John: She knitted him.

Reporter: Do you often see you father?
Paul: No, actually were just close friends

George: Oh, by all means, I'd be quite prepared for that eventuality

Ooh, awesome icons!

Well, the first time I know that I heard The Beatles was as a little kid when I saw Matthew Broderick lipsynch to Twist and Shout in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. And I remember George Harrison having a hit around that time with Got My Mind Set On You, but I didn't get into them hardcore until a decade later when I was in high school. My fanatical obsession lasted for about three years.

I'd always heard Beatles songs around my house growing up, mostly the earlier albums, but it wasn't until my aunt played Let It Be that I really stopped and thought, "These guys are amazing." I began to appreciate the earlier stuff much more, but I still really dig the later albums.

Your icons are really fantastic!! I love the "Role Model" one. You're very talented.

Well, I'd always known who The Beatles were and liked some of their songs. But it wasn't until I borrowed this Reader's Digest box set to make tapes for my 13th birthday party (the theme was the 60s) that I realised they sung a whole heaps of songs that I simply loved!

So, yes, it was when I was 13 that I fell in love with The Beatles and that was 6 years ago, now.

So, this question is open to everyone - which era of their music do you prefer?
Personally, I love all their music, but for different reasons. I like the earlier music because it's so happy and cute. Then in the middle when they started experimenting and branching out.

I think my favourite albums are Rubber Soul and Revolver because they were in that transition period from just straight out 'pop rock' to being more experimental and each branching out to their preferred type of music.

Oh, wow, that's a tough question. I love all their stuff so much. I notice that I tend to prefer the songs where John raises his voice up a few notches, like in their cover of This boy when he gets to the 3rd verse.

Oh, and this boy
Would be happy
Just to love you,
But oh, my, that boy
Won't be happy
'Til he's seen you cry.

That part just makes me swoon. I really love their later music when they moved away from the cutesy stuff and got a little edgier.

Hmm...that's tough. I really love the later records, Abbey Road and Let It Be. But my favourite would have to be around the late 60's with Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour. I like their early records when they were still mainly poppy, but I didn't really get to love them until I heard the later, more experimental music.
