Cam fit perfectly with someone else. At first I didn't like her because she wasn't getting along with Brennan and because she was with Booth. But once that ended Cam started to grow on me. Now I can't even thing about not loving Cam.

Brennan can be a abrasive person especially to someone who comes in as a surprise. Cam was sprung on her, and it took her time. And Cam is a different personality. But they came to a meetings of the mind, and it was a perfect addition.

I loved how BONES showed three females could basically run the show. And be incredibly good in their jobs...

And yet Brennan was not the type to take control of things, and therefore they needed someone like Cam who could work with the gang but help with the authorities, and other business of the lab.

And yet in the end Cam gets a life she wants. And was fine will stepping back into a new role.

That's how I felt too. I was a huge Brennan supporter and I was defensive of her. I grew to love Cam a lot though.

Yes Cam was sprung on Brennan and it took her awhile to accept Cam. It also took Cam some time to get used to working with Brennan.

Yeah, it does take time to work with Brennan. Only Angela seemed find something in Brennan and her ways never seemed to bother her. So for someone to come in blind, it does take a special someone to really understand Brennan. Especially when in the beginning when Brennan was closed off from everyone, and was only in the beginning stages of understanding the world.

They sat and talked. Although I did love Booth was very much on Brennan's side, yet made Cam see. Especially given that one case they were on, hit all of Brennan's buttons at once in regards to the foster system.

Also the hired Cam while Brennan was away. Brennan came back and Cam was in charge and Brennan doesn't do well with things like that. And yes in that case was tough for Brennan because of her being in foster care.

Change is hard for Brennan. So for Cam to be sprung on her as Goodman left suddenly, so he didn't have to deal with telling her, so it was going to take some time for them to come to terms. Also it was also sudden change for the audience to get used to. So we along with Brennan needed time.

Yes we were. I know I didn't love Cam in the beginning.

It's easy now to go back and watch the episodes, and appreciate Cam. But at the time, I remembered it was a big change. And I was newly watching the show. I came late in the first season, so Season 2 was the first season I really watched from the beginning, so I wasn't that cold to Cam but I remembered that the change didn't really meet with fan approval in the beginning.

Especially once she and Booth got together. By by the end when she almost died due to Epps, she had grown on us and you hoped she didn't die. I think she was there initially on a trial period and the show decided to go with the character, so I don't know if they intended her to die and then they in the end, decided she would live...

But she grew on us.
