The ultimate episode. This is amazing episode, even without the blatant showcase of Booth's feelings for Brennan. The way Brennan and Hodgins MacGyver themselves out of the situation.

My goodness, when they got to the scene and Booth is desperately looking for a sign. And the truly you don't know where they could be because there is no true evidence and then the poof of smoke.

And his running. Wow! He might have been with Cam, but Booth was truly all about Brennan.

It's a fantastic episode.

The scene where Booth sees the smoke and starts running and digs Brennan out is so powerful. It's one of my favorite scenes from the entire show.

This episode is so iconic. Booth's feelings for Brennan were so obvious in this. It's such an overall good episode.

The scene is so iconic. He was so desperate. So to see the poof, even with the sand...nothing was stopping him as he ran. It really showed that they were no ordinary couple. I think Cam saw it, but she wanted it to work with Booth... but knew that it was losing cause, so she wasn't too broken up when they broke up.

But that scene that Booth saw the poof of smoke, god what a incredible moment. And the way they looked at each other when he pulled her out of the gravel and sand!

I always knew Cam was a distraction. This episodes proved it even more.

Yeah I always saw Cam that way too. Booth cared about her but they were definitely better off as friends.

Yes, they were great friends, but that is about where it ends.

I know initially Cam was brought on with a short-lived contract. But they liked how she worked and decided to keep her. I am sure if it hadn't, Epps might have actually killed her and sent the team off even with more mission to get Epps.

But yeah, she was a distraction and she could see how intense Booth and Brennan was.. Heck, from the start even before they renewed their connection. Booth told her that if she fired Brennan, he would leave the institute. So going in, she was with him but knew neither was really seeing the future with each other.

But they enjoyed each other. And this episode was a crystal look at the bond between Booth and Brennan.

The show would have been so different if they actually killed Cam.

Wow I never knew that. I really glad that they didn't kill Cam. She was such an important part of the show.
