Yes, during the shorten pregnancy season due to Emily's pregnancy and they only aired 13 episodes, but at the end of the shooting season...they shot four additional episodes, that were saved for the following season. So, Season 8.
It was this one, the one that I think was episode 3 - the one where Sweets has his burnt phase and scales back and goes into the inner city. And then they also shot Ghost in the Machine (which was then labeled episode 150), and there is another one that I can't remember. But I think it's the one that has Booth, Brennan and baby Christine dancing at the end of the episode. Which of course caused them to have to know where they were headed in the direction of the season. And they had to be careful with how Christine aged, and therefore was shown. And the four additional episodes ended up airing in the first half of Season 8. This was a interesting look at Brennan's relationship with all the squint-terns. And how a life changing event showed in all of them. You saw it from different viewpoints. It was funny how the squints thought they were investigating the chainsaw death, but Brennan just passed over it and went into something else and it ended up in something very meaningful to them all! __________________

I recently re watched this episode as well and it was as good as I thought it was. I loved the ending scene with Brennan and Booth.

It was such a powerful episode. A great look at a great tragedy through the eyes of the different people in the lab. And that we got to see most of the squints, it was such a moving episode.

This episode is one of my favorites. I liked hearing how 9/11 impacted all of them, and how they all worked together to get this case solved.

It was such a memorable episode that took such a impactful day and brought it into the lab. And using all the squints (or who was available. I know they wanted Carla's Daisy but she was unavailable). Powerful scenes.
Then some humor in Brennan trying to coach the team, and the squints thinking they knew the case but Brennan just dismissed it as a chainsaw death, like it was nothing. __________________
