So if I did all the half-hugs and touching and what-not, this pic!spam would go on for about 800 pages so I tried to stick to thing that were strictly hugs. But it is nearly midnight, so in my exhausted state of mind, if I missed something, please let me know. And proceed with the chastising.

So, not only is this the epic first hug that BB have shared, but it's also a total moment of, ZOMG BoothjustshotamanincoldbloodforBrennaneventhoughhalfofhisribsarebrokenbecausehelurrrrrrvessssher. Period. The end. As much as I love the first season, I don't see the true bond of their partnership beginning until this scene. And how sweet is him repeating over and over again "It's alright. I'm here. It's alright." Triple Guh!

"I know who you are." 'Nuff said.

So, other than this being a really sweet hug, the red dress + sweaty/blood Booth makes this totally sexual. Although, come to think of it, EVERYTHING about Tony and Roxi was sexual. Loveee it.

If this were really how Booth hugged all his guy friends, I would begin to question his sexuality. Luckily, he's an FBI agent - he can embellish the truth, and this most definitely was not a 'guy hug.' Couldn't they just get it on right there? Or would that be inappropriate. A better question: Can Brennan get her office windows tinted?

Brennan needs her big strong FBI-agent partner to protect/comfort her in the moment that she thinks her brother is dead. The only better thing here would be comfort!sex. But ah, beggars can't be choosers. Also, LOL @ Brennan's later comment: "I wish you wouldn't keep letting me hug you when I get scared." And Booths oh-so-adorable reply.

This hug is just beautiful in so many ways. First of all, who else loves that it's like at the altar at Angela and Hodgins wedding and that BB hug for about an hour and a half and Angela has to literally interrupt them. Yes, they love each other, and the look on Booth's face when he pulls out of the hug shows that he has JUST realized that very fact.

This is such a beautiful comfort hug, and once again, the look on Booth's face just shows how much he cares for her. And I love how it's just sort of a given that they hug, ya know? Although my favorite part would probably actually not be the real hug, but afterwards when she's hugging her father and just staring at Booth and he's staring back at her looking oh-so-dreamy and in love.

This is less of a hug and more of a BrennanclutchingontoBoothinhisseeminglyfinalmomentsonearth situation, but it is needy and desperate and heartbreaking and beautiful.

Is it odd that this is my favorite hug between the two of them? I just absolutely love the set up of it all. And it's not so much a hug as him just holding her, you know? Comforting her and letting her know that he's there. And doesn't it just kill you that every time Brennan needs consoling, Booth just looks so wounded, like he's feeling the pain she's going through as well?

This probably ties with WitW as the most emotional and desperate BB hug, but this gets bonus points cause Booth is fully conscious here. Also, don't you just love the little look they give each other before they dive into the hug? Gah, they are going to be the death of me one of these days.

So I know I said only things that were strictly hugs, but isn't a cuddle in essence a form of a hug? And who CARES if it's all a dream or whatever. Pregnant Brennan and ecstatic Baby Daddy Booth are too adorable to pass up.
