Oh it took me a second too. Wow, she's in this movie. Never would have thought about her being in it at all.

I was actually wondering about that a while ago
cause I knew that she and her sister also act

than AJ said in an intreview that she would start filming a movie in Philadelphia in October
and if there was another movie filming in the same city...same time it would be a huge coincidence

makes me happy that she mentioned Half Nelson and not The Notebook(movie that most teenagers mention when they talk about Ryan)

and that I know of she is in 5 scenes...two with Ryan
but those are the ones she is mentioned and does/says something...she might be in others just in the background and stuff

Yes I remember seeing them somewhere and that they sing but didn't know she was acting too. It is nice that she mentioned Half Nelson. Shows she watches other stuff as well and he really was awesome in it. She's lucky to be in a movie with Ryan.

and my cousin who is a big Aly & AJ fan... she actually is the one who introduced me to their music
told me they usually post pics from filming on their website and also post blogs on myspace
soon and hopefully there will be some Ryan mention comming from a co-star's P.O.V

you know I was looking at some gossip blogs at some of them are so lame
they keep saying ''what happened to Ryan Gosling?''...''I really hope all of this is for a movie''

I mean is it dificult to google him and his future projects before saying stupid stuff like this?
and they keep bringin up ''young(er) Noah'' from TN
dude...that was 4 years ago and he actually lost weight to play that part of Noah's life,they put make up on him to make him look like a teenager

if they want to compare do it to when Fracture premiered
or early last year before he started gaining weigh for LARS...

or why even compare?
Ryan never looks the same in the movie he does
even if just the hair is diferent....he still changes

Oh, I know.

He's even talked about how he's put on weight and looking like he is now for this in a recent interviews, so they just have to follow him even a little to know.

People are just dumb sometimes.

I know what you mean!!! Its so obvious that he does this for the movie and to get into the role better. People can be pretty stupid.

Ryan Gosling is playing Jack Salmon in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones, an adaptation of the runaway bestseller by Alice Sebold. To portray the grieving father whose murdered daughter watches from heaven, he has already put on some added paunch.

"This is frustrating because I gained weight for Lars And The Real Girl and then I lost it and then I gained a lot of weight again," said Gosling. "So I could have just kept it the whole time."

Gosling is preparing to shoot in Pennsylvania, though he revealed that he will have a bit of work in New Zealand, where Jackson is literally constructing heaven. "I work a little bit in New Zealand, but mostly I work in Philadelphia."

It is too early for Gosling to figure out his acting method; his commitment to character is always evident on film, but he's still working out the details. "It's hard to describe when you are in it. When I'm out of it I'll be able to decipher what's been happening."

He did, however, share an artistic perspective with Jackson. "He's fearless as a director. He takes on things that you kind of have to be crazy to take on. To do Lord of the Rings you have to kind of be nuts because there is no way you are going to win. You are always going to have naysayers and people saying you ruined it or whatever. But he's my kind of nuts because he doesn't care and he does it anyway. There are so many units and it takes him years to make it. He doesn't care. And he makes this movie and then he does King Kong. What are you doing? Now he's doing Lovely Bones. People have such reverence for that book, and he's just like, 'I'm going to try that.' So it's exciting to work with somebody like that."

The Lovely Bones will be in theaters 2008. Lars And The Real Girl , starring Gosling about a social introvert who befriends a blow-up doll, opens this Friday in limited release.

I so agree with what he said about Peter Jackson

that shows that he (Peter) knows what he is doing by
casting a disney artist/pop singer
casting a 26 year old to play the daddy of a 14 year old
not having Dakota Fanning as Susie-I THANK THE LORD for that

the guy is simply brillant...I can't wait for this movie

Ah, I totally thought Dakota Fanning was going to get cast for this too. :lol:

I almost cried tears of joy when I found out she wasn't

no ofense to her fans
but after War of The Worlds I started to really avoid watching movies with her
she was so god damm annoying in it screaming bloody murder all the time

still love uptown girls,I am Sam and Men on Fire though

thing is she is getting older...
so for me she is old news...and the way people kept casting her in movies with Hollywood legends...made get tired of her too fast

I'm so glad that she isn't either. I don't really like her at all. Aww too bad for Ryan losing and having to gaining it again. Must be tough.
