She did and she has said so for several occasions during the past few years.

Still not sure this a sequel would work tho, but I wouldn't mind her working with this cast again. I can't imagine were it would go story-wise? Maybe Rachel, Isla, Owen and Vince are crashing weddings together? But part of the fun of the first movie was the whole Cleary family dynamic.

I guess we'll see if it ever happens! Tbh because it's a comedy movie I guess a lot of what people anticipate about it would be just the crashing part? Idk but I'd be so down for it if it happened!

I’m told is a sequel script has just been turned in by Evan Susser & Van Robichaux to New Line, and the plan is for David Dobkin to return as director, along with the original stars Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Fisher and Rachel McAdams. No word on whether they’ll try to bring back Will Ferrell, Bradley Cooper or Christopher Walken, each of whom had memorable moments in the first film. Andrew Panay is returning as producer.

New Line sparked to the writing team Susser & Robichaux after they scripted the upcoming Ice Cube-Charlie Day starrer Fist Fight, which the studio releases February 17. The writers competed for the open writing assignment, and their pitch for the sequel won them the job. The original grossed $285 million worldwide on a $40 million budget.

The scribes are repped by UTA and Fourth Wall Management.

It sounds like reason to be cautiously optimistic for sure! I didn't think about it but that's really true-- all the stars are "worth" a lot more now, so I guess their deals WOULD be pretty pricey.

I often wish we could be a fly on the while during those Hollywood meetings. Would be fun to hear people pitch stories for Wedding Crashers 2.

And I agree Amanda, I think we can be cautiously optimistic. I mean, you never know in Hollywood but I do think it's a good sign Isla also talked about it.
