I don't own the DVD unfortunately, but it comes on TV every holiday season, and I just have to watch it despite seeing it many times already. It's my favorite holiday movie -- this and Elf.
 Diane does seem to play the same character each time.  But I loved that she played Rachel's onscreen mother! They worked well together.  __________________

I didn't know it was on TV every year - that's really awesome!
 I agree that Diane and Rachel did work really well together in this movie and worked well off each other I almost watched it last night but went with Dirty Dancing instead - I'll watch it closer to Christmas. __________________

Yeah, it usually starts in November to maybe about January, I think. I see it often on the TBS, USA, and TNT channels.
 Yes, it's a great movie for the holidays. I love watching it during Thanksgiving and Christmas time. So, that's a good choice to save it for Christmas, Gabriela. __________________

Diane and Rachel were totally mom and daughter in this film. They had great chemistry.

I've ended up watching it a few times during this holiday season - I love the character of Amy....she's definitely one of the more interesting ones and I like the growth we see in her.
On a side note: I love the outfit she's wearing in the first scene we see her in - I think it's a black t-shirt with red skirt and black tights/leggings You can kind of see it here:Photos from The Family Stone And I really loved her hair in this movie __________________

I know! I need to watch this movie, too! Unfortunately, I don't have it on DVD... I've been hoping to catch it on TV, but I haven't had time to watch much TV.
 Gabriela, I loved that outfit, too -- very funky casual. I loved her hair, too. It's a lovely color and style. __________________
