With regards to soulmates...I honestly think on this show that Eleanor Chidi and Tahani are all soulmates. It's unconventional but it works on this show yo

Eleanor has said "I love you" to Chidi 3 times, she just doesn't remember all three times.

First time, when she told revealed she isn't suppose to be there.
Second time, when she thought she loved him.
Third time, in episode 2x03.
I love when they argue best though.
