alright. my rage is real right now.
no emmy love? this show had the finest twist on TV this year. it was better then WestWorld. and it didnt even get a writing nom? no love for KB, Ted, anyone. talk about shut out.  i understand that it wasnt really in the Emmy conversation. but for the life of me i cant figure out why... and this total shutout is absolutely unforgivable. __________________

the emmys are like the oscars, really good at sticking to what they know. it's pretty much like looking at last year's nominees with a few exceptions. like you know the only reason something like this is us is nominated is because game of thrones didn't qualify this year. both shows i love, but still. i also love veep and julia louis-dreyfus but these last couple of seasons haven't made me laugh out loud like they have in the past, LIKE THE GOOD PLACE DOES! even unbreakable kimmy schmidt isn't 30 rock levels of funny coming from tina fey. and modern family is still funny but come on, mix it up. SO SNUBBED
it made me realize that brooklyn 99 was snubbed too, that show is hilarious |

Absolutely, it really is. its just incredibly frustrating.
especially for something that had a twist like the good place did. that really did deserve a writer nom, at the very least. and yeah, Brooklyn 99 is a great show as well. another one that has lately found itself passed over, despite being smart and accessible and laugh out loud funny pretty consistently. __________________
