I can imagine Riley sneaking in the closet to find something, and then boop, there they would be. Then she would spend hours flipping through all of the pictures. =p


I think she did keep both some of her childhood clothes and the meaningful items. Maybe she wanted to pass them down to her daughter when the time was right.


That is true. I remember when I realized that I was taller than my mom. It was a fun realization.

^ Ah, growth spurts, why must you grab ahold of some but not others? I really don't remember when Rowan/Riley became taller than Danielle/Topanga. Do you have any ideas?

^I'm not sure either. I just remember seeing episode 2x01 and I was like 'Riley!' And she haven't stopped growing up ever since.

Hard to say off the top of my head, it feels even in season 1 that there had to be a pause somewhere because by the end of it the kids had all visibly grown up...

She's probably wearing heels in the scene but she was already taller than Topanga.

^ Whoa! You're right. Do you remember whether Topanga was wearing shoes that gave her some height?


I'll accept that. I don't think it really occurred to me that she was taller. The one scene that really sticks out in my mind is their hug at the end of Ski Lodge Part One. Riley hugged Topanga good-night, and I just clearly remember how Riley had to kind of bend down to make it happen.


I'll keep an eye out and let you know.

Riley was definitely wearing huge heels in that scene, I remember that crazy outfit - not sure if Topanga was though

I found some pics, for some reason I love them. They're crazy and colorful.




Topanga is wearing heels, not as huge as Riley's but she it's funny cause in the gif you can see Riley is a few inches taller and I thought topanga was wearing flats.

Mind-blown! First of all, look at them! They were in very colorful outfits. I loved seeing them in outfits that we hadn't seen them in (and in Topanga's case, it had been a while). And second, wow, it does look like Riley was taller than Topanga, even then.

It's crazy how young Topanga looks, like she didn't change at all since classic!Topanga.

Aw, look at those two lovely ladies! I loved their temporary transformations. Now they've got tons of style. I just wish we could have seen other temporary transformations. I would have loved to have seen their other looks.
