Look, I found another thread on page 2. Self-five!

I agree. I always thought 'Farkle' was a last name. Then I watched Maya's Mother and I realized that it's actually his first name. I am curious to find out how Minkus and Jennifer came up with it.

^ I'm slowly making the rounds. Sometimes I just roll right over threads until I suddenly notice them and I realize that I want to post there.

I do wonder if they'll ever explain why they named him Farkle. I mean, we went seven seasons and only found out that Cory is short for Cornelius in the series finale. =p The origin/significance of Farkle's name is the one question about him that I really want them to answer. I'm going to be coming up with my own ideas until they (hopefully) clear it up.


In Money, it kind of seemed like Minkus wasn't there as much as either one of them wanted or liked. Do you think that has changed since then?

I know! I didn't see that one coming. What a treat for them to reveal that little nugget to us in the series finale.

I hope so too. Minkus has never seemed like the kind of guy who would put wealth and success in business above the happiness of his son. I think Farkle telling him how he has felt really opened his eyes to the fact that he might have lost sight of what's important.

That's exactly what they did! I never even thought about it until Mr. Feeney revealed it. Then it clicked. Of course his full name is Cornelius.

Definitely! Minkus gave me the vibe that he wanted to take over the world in his own way. I'm not surprised that Farkle has those same plans. I just hope that Minkus knows when those plans start affecting his relationship with his son.
