For me, the best part about the couple was that they were interracial, but it wasn't a big deal. I think it set a really good precedent for such couples on TV, being one of the first on a teenage sitcom.

I agree. Their relationship was more about Shawn needing someone like her, and it was never about race. Their relationship always felt natural and was interesting.

But I did love how every now and then Angela would make a joke about it like with her middle name and when she wrote that paper that went something like "how to maintain your african american identity when you have three very white friends" or something like that

I loved that all of Shawn's friends knew how good they were together. Cory and Topanga were so supportive of them.

Their relationship was natural, and you could tell they really loved each other. They had so much in common and I love the "bag lady" episode. It was so cute!  __________________

 o how i love these two, my favorite couple on the show, and i love all the moments mentioned. esp the purse episode  aww he was so cute when he was like afraid to talk to her because he thought it would come out "hi, i want to have your children" lol aww__________________
