^ It did! I was very invested and connected with their love story. I loved all of their relationship ups and downs. They were very real for me.

I agree, one of the many reasons I loved Shawn/Angela together was because they were written realistically. It was a breath of fresh air they weren't written as neverending rainbows and sunshine like Cory/Topanga were, cause that's how couples are.

I felt like their relationship had the perfect mixture of sweet moments and angsty moments. That's how a lot of romantic relationships have.

I agree, Shawn and Angela both had rough lives and parents that ran out on them. They were both hurt, and could put comfort and trust in each other but it would be rocky along the way.

That's so true!

I never thought about that, but I can see that being the case. Shawn was going to need someone who understood why it was hard for him to open up be vulnerable. That's why Angela was his perfect match.
