Here's what I've noticed during my re-watch. Initially, Eric was four years older than Cory (I think Eric was 15 and Cory was 11 when the series started), but that somehow got reduced to two years in season two and beyond. It was never mentioned how old Morgan was when the series started, but I've always thought that she was either five or six years old, which made her five or six years younger than Cory. I'll keep trying to figure it out. Morgan definitely looked after Josh after their brothers left for New York at the end of the series. They were the only two Matthew children in that house. I can imagine that she looked after him for as long as she was still living in the family home.

Yeah that sounds about right. They did sort of say that they had bumped up the kids so they probably just didn't bump Eric as well

^ I know for sure about the change in the age gap between Cory and Eric. There were a few mentions that they were 11-years-old and 15-years-old respectively. I'm just not sure about the gap between Morgan and her brothers, mostly because there was never a mention of her age in the first two seasons...I don't think. I just put her at five- or six-years-old because...just because. I could be off by a few years. I've never been very good at determining someone's age by looking at them.

Maybe some mentions of school levels at some point... But then she disappeared and returned bigger so who knows

^ You're right. Her age/grade level was mentioned when Lindsay took on the role, but like you said, TPTB had (probably) aged the character a few years. When Lily was playing the role, nothing was revealed about Morgan's age. I guess we'll never know how old Morgan was supposed to be in the beginning of the series. =(

^ I didn't properly watch Roseanne...but I do remember the two Beckys. The one thing that I thought was so great was that we got to see how beautiful Lily and Lindsay have grown since their Boy Meets World days.

^ I remember watching the occasional episode in syndication years ago...but a lot of it is a blank now. I've been wanting to watch it in its proper order, mostly because I really loved David/Darlene and I want to see their love story from the beginning.

I know, right? When you don't see someone for many years, you almost fool yourself into thinking that time froze and they stayed the age that they were the last time you saw them. You forget that they've been living life and growing up like you have...so when you see them again, you are shocked that they are beautiful young women or handsome young men. Seeing Lindsay wasn't so much of a shock, since we saw her when the series wrapped in 2000. Seeing how grownup Lily is was the big shock for me. We haven't seen her in a little over 20 years. She has grown into such a beautiful young lady.
