This thread title reminds me that the Matthews family has traditions that are passed down. I can only imagine what new traditions Riley and Auggie will come up with as they build their own families and they add new members to the family.

Aw, that's so cute! Cory should have enjoyed the fact that Amy was impressed by him, instead of letting her know that he was reading The Grapes of Wrath backwards.

Yeah, I guess that Cory didn't realize that telling her he was reading the book backwards was going to ruin it for Amy

^ Oh, for sure. I wonder how Cory came up with that idea to read The Grapes of Wrath backwards. I would have loved to have gotten the rest of the family's reactions to Cory reading the book backwards. =p

^ That sounds right. Eric either loved Cory's idea to read books backwards so much that he decided to read books that way from that moment on, or he gave Cory the idea in the first place because he wanted to see if Cory would actually do it. =p Morgan would have thought that it was a bad, stupid idea, and she wouldn't have hesitated to tell Cory that she thought so.

^ Right? Morgan probably would have told Cory and/or Eric that reading a book backwards is a stupid idea, and they would have put down their books a few seconds after she walked out of the room.

^ I agree. I enjoyed every moment that the Matthews family shared. There was no doubt that they would have done anything for one another, and that there was a lot of love and happiness in their house. It was so easy to love them and want to be part of their family.

^ Exactly. The Matthews family is one of my favorite TV families. Alan and Amy made sure their house was a warm, safe space for their family and their friends.

I love how hard Amy tries in that moment to break the spell that Desiree had put on him. Too bad it doesn't work.
