That's what's frusterating... We dont need them to be a couple... well, most of us dont anyway, we just want them to interact like they did before, and it sucks that it was taken away from us.

Sophie, Im not sure honestly, it could go either way.

Sometimes I think the writers are setting up RL to fail. They barely interact, they fight over insignificant things, they don't connect etc. and I keep thinking and hoping that they will prove this point. But then other times I feel like I'm totally oblivious. That they want R/L together and they've been writing it that way since the beginning (they've just done a horrible job at it). I just cant tell if they wrote L/M not realizing that they were showing how good they were for each other, OR if they have a big plan mapped out for later. Only time with tell.

I'm inclined to think that its the former though, the more episodes that go on. I just dont have a lot of faith in these writers anymore.

Rose, where are we at with the survivor? Oh and did you get a chance to look over that PM? If anything I just need a response about the "story"... is it okay for me to take what you wrote and condense it? I think I will pm Sophie next too to get her opinions, and I would like to get some PMs out to posters about testimonials if possible.

I get that, I waver sometimes too, but I do think they are setting up R/L to fail. They have just been so many little lines that I think mean something, about concepts, & perception etc. Plus, before the show even aired MJ did an interview where he was asked about RL being like Cory/Topanga & he outright said 'that is not going to happen'.

We will just have to wait & see.....

Agree with what you both said. We don't need them to be romantically involved, just show that they are still friends! I don't get it.......they didn't even kiss and they are acting like if they even look at each other Riley will explode or something. I don't thInk that is what Riley wants either.......

I also agree about them setting up R/L to fail. And I actually am fine with that. It is a good lesson to learn, that sometimes the first person you like isn't the one you will be with forever. I think Riley needs to know that since Corey and Topanga are her parents.

Not sure, if/when that does happen, if lucaya will actually happen. I mean, the triangle was emotional for everyone. There is probably a lot of unresolved issues between Maya and Lucas that might make them getting together hard.

I'm still waiting for the "they make the wrong decisions" in ski lodge tweet to make sense because right now I dont really get it.


I hope this is the case because I think it would be a nice message. Whether or not LM get back together or not I would at least like them to address that R/L arent right for one another.

I too am in the "hopeful for season 4" boat. perhaps they really are just waiting til the kids are a bit older.

Yeah, just like Shawn and Angela there will be many who oppose......but I was one of the ones who believed they weren't right for each other. To me it wasn't a shock when she came back married and Shawn ended up with Katy. I think Shawn and Katy are much better. I see Riley and Lucas like that. And as you said, even if it isn't to get Maya and Lucas together, it is still good to show that. Everyone has a certain someone, sometimes it takes more time to find them.

Right now these kids are feeling new emotions and they need to explore. Even Topanga and Corey explored, they weren't together all the time. They had their ups and downs and some made us think that was it, it was over. But not many people are that lucky and find that one person in the first person they date. That needs to be addressed because even Shawn and Angela were talked about as being it for each other even after their break up. That is why people are really not happy with Katy and Shawn because it was made out that Shawn and Angela would get back together later down the road. That was a horrible promise to give viewers.

Another ep with no lucaya.....still interesting to see two best friends & one who thinks something is meant for her & is entitled to it & the other friend steps back & by doing so, allows herself to grow organically to the point where she becomes perfect for the thing friend 1 felt entitled to & friend 1 finally saw that & stepped back
