So did I! They were so similar that they meshed well together.


I loved that! I remember how Miss Tompkins wanted Mr. Turner to make a commitment in to her, and Mr. Turner did make that commitment...with Shawn. He decided to take responsibility for Shawn and he offered Shawn the stable home environment that he didn't have when his parents disappeared on him.


I jumped for joy when Maya asked Mr. Turner about Shawn. I want another scene with them.




Whoa, you just blew my mind! Now I'm waiting for a moment where Maya calls Mr. Turner 'Grandpa.'


We want it, and we want it now!

Remember the very first interaction between Shawn and Mr. Turner? Shawn said that he was going to bring down the new teacher, but Mr. Turner knew exactly what Shawn was all about. Shawn got really dodgy when Mr. Turner started looking for troublemaker Shawn, and Mr. Turner found him right away.

^ Definitely! I think that Mr. Turner was either very much like Shawn at that age, or he knew someone who was like Shawn. That's how Mr. Turner managed to connect with him so easily. And I think Shawn looked at Mr. Turner and he saw what he could be in the future. Mr. Turner was his hope and inspiration that he could deal with life and come out the other side a better person. I will always be grateful that Mr. Turner came into Shawn's life in season two.

Me three. It took a lot for Shawn to let down his guard and let someone in to help him and for him to listen when they talked. It didn't take much time or effort for Mr. Turner to make an impact on Shawn. Mr. Turner saw that Shawn was more than the guy that everyone saw, and he knew exactly what to do and say to make him listen. A huge part of that was the fact that, like we all think, he saw himself in Mr. Turner. I wonder if Mr. Turner had a Mr. Turner, you know, someone who got through to him when he thought that his path was set.

It's awesome! I don't remember some of those specific scenes but I love the reminder of some of their moments.
