I don't think so, maybe he mentioned it when he revealed his parents were rich, because didn't he say that they expected him to pick a more lucrative career? Feel like I kind of have a hazy memory of that

^ I don't remember the details of that moment. I can buy Mr. Turner choosing a career that he loves instead of one that will make him rich though. I'm sure that's how he decided to be a teacher.

^ Aw! I'm so happy Anthony jumped at the chance to reprise his role. I think a lot of viewers wanted to see Mr. Turner again, especially since we got to find out a little bit about what his life was like.

^ Exactly. Considering how the Mr. Turner/Shawn dynamic brought out a different side to him, I wish TPTB had given us another glimpse of what Mr. Turner is like as a father.

Oh, yes. I love that Mr. Turner wore his shirt-tie combos with jeans. The shirt-tie combos showed his students that he should be respected as their teacher, and the jeans showed them that he was more approachable than other teachers that they may have had, so they could go to him if they needed help. He really was the cool teacher.
