^ I completely agree. There was obviously a lot of milestone Riley/Maya moments that we didn't get to see.

I get that too. I love that Riley was there to help Maya start to accept that she was going to grow up and that things were going to change, no matter how hard Maya tried to pretend that it wasn't going to happen.

^ I think so too. TPTB clearly set Riley and Maya up as the female versions of Cory and Shawn, and we know how affectionate they were with each other.
