I thought that at first, too, but when I thought about it more, the one thing that friends need to do above protecting one another is standing up. He was watching Riley get hurt thinking Maya and Lucas were going on and he was trying to let them know.

but i dont think threatening riley was the right way. maybe farkel should have said "if you dont tell them i will." and then he could have told maya and lucas seperately that riley still had feelings for lucas. or at least, told maya that. i dont think lucas needed to be told that.

its rileys feelings, its her decision what she tells people and i think it was way over the line for farkle to blurt that out. though telling maya i do understand at least because she's the one getting hurt here.

I didn't like the Farkle just blurted it out. He could have taken Maya aside and told her if anything. I guess it's part of growing and learning though.

I don't know, I agree with you guys and still I think he's right. Sometimes, it's better to be completely honest than modest. With the speed the writers take everything on this show (slow burn) this is something that will throw a monkey wrench into all we thought. because of this i'm EVEN MORE excited to see what happens next.

The triangle is annoying AF to me, and makes everyone look bad. Farkle totally didn't need to, in the name of friendship, blurt that out to everyone and embarrass Riley, Maya, and Lucas. He probably could have told Maya separately.


But mostly to me, this makes Maya and Riley's bond look not that strong tbh, at least from Maya to Riley. Riley knew that Maya liked Lucas, but Maya can't figure out that Riley still has feelings for Lucas, or is she choosing to ignore?
