I read a spoiler on the spoilers board from someone who saw the finale of 3 or knows about it... according to this person's view, Riley and Lucas break up in the finale of 3 (I guess due to the possible move) and it's cloudy at the end whether or not they are still together.

Kind of felt like I was punched in the gut after reading that.

Anyone have a better take on what happens to them in the finale?

i think riley and lucas don't break up per say, at this point everyone thinks that riley is moving to london.

Good to know! I think it's all about interpretation too. Non-Riley/Lucas shippers just want a break up so they'd see London as a way to go there not realizing that the only reason why they might break up would be due to the move, not because they don't want to be together. Also, we know they stay together until this time anyway which means they've made it work until this point and the only reason why the relationship might be in question is due to the move, not because they were not working as a couple. That's a great thing, too.

My interpretation of that S3 finale spoiler is that they only break up bc of the move. The lines said in the scene are “From this point on, from here to ever, wherever you are, for the rest of my life, I will get to say that RILEY MATTHEWS was my first girlfriend.” by Lucas and then Riley apparently says the same back to him. They never actually say they're breaking up but I guess it's implied. But obviously if she's not moving there's no reason for them to stay broken up. He's really torn up about her leaving, their breakup is not something they actually want.
