^ That's possible. My thought is that Cory wanted Riley to fight for what she thought was right, so he gave her the freedom to forge her own path by rebelling in her own way.

Maybe Cory told Riley that he did pull a similar stunt after her rebellion ended.

Riley will want to be an original rebel and not just a Cory copycat. That's why I think Riley will keep trying to find ways to rebel until she rebels in a way that Cory never did.
