I think it was just a knee jerk reaction because she was standing there then suddenly leaned into him. I don't think he was intending to pull away it was just like a "Whoa" because he didn't expect it but as soon as he realized what she was doing he just stayed there. I'm not sure he thought she was going to kiss him but i love how he looks at her as she's hugging him like part of him is just so touched that she did it.

Colleen, the owl detective have some really great theories on the show. Now, Im not sure just how deep the writers really are, if they really truly intend some of the things she points out, but its definitely interesting to read.

I agree, & I may not agree with everything that she says, but I definitely agree with the Riarkle side of things, I am soooo confident that the writers are building up to them & pretty much have been since day 1

I am not sure how deep the writers go with things, but her theories are so fun to read. I am remember when I was feeling down about Ski lodge, her tumblr made me feel better. I really think she has a lot of good points about these two.

well and reading the writers interviews, it really does seem to fall in line with the things shes saying. they kept repeating that the story is about friendship and about growing and LEARNING and i dont want to accept that the characters have already learned all their lessons? surely they have a lot of mistakes to make and i think they are not in the right relationships right now, regardless if they all end as friends or whatever happens.

I agree, her theories aside, if you actually read what the writers say in interviews & what they've been saying along, this is not a story of Riley falls in Lucas's love & that's her romantic fate stated forever. I think that's what Riley is meant to think, but the audience should know better. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a main couple of a show less popular than rucas, & this is the guy that gave us corpanga, so he knows how to write the big romances.
