I understand why Cory chose him, but I don't think Farkle completed his job imo, just worked on Riley's feelings, didn't seem that bothered about Maya & Lucas's....

Farkle was so excited to find out what happened in Belgium 1831, and Zay chose the worst possible moment to interrupt that lesson. I loved the side of Farkle. I didn't think he could get so and by an interruption.
