I hear they bridge the gap nicely between Ep. III and Ep. IV: A New Hope/ the Classic Trilogy (which are and always will be my favorites).

I didn't think that Episode I was all that bad overall. It just had the job of having to introduce all the characters, new and old, as well as tell a story. And that can be a hard thing to do.
Episode II, as much I would love to say I love it, I can't. I think the direction and f/x were great, but I didn't like the writing. I don't think the script was all that great so it made for some bad acting in my opinion. And I cannot wait for Episode III. I love how it's going to be dark and more emotional the the others. __________________

I've only seen Episode II once all the way through and that's when I saw it in the theater. I've tried to watch it, but I just cannot get into it.

I just watched the featurettes and I love this quote from Hayden:
