I hear they bridge the gap nicely between Ep. III and Ep. IV: A New Hope/ the Classic Trilogy (which are and always will be my favorites).

I didn't think that Episode I was all that bad overall. It just had the job of having to introduce all the characters, new and old, as well as tell a story. And that can be a hard thing to do.
Episode II, as much I would love to say I love it, I can't. I think the direction and f/x were great, but I didn't like the writing. I don't think the script was all that great so it made for some bad acting in my opinion.
And I cannot wait for Episode III. I love how it's going to be dark and more emotional the the others.

out of all the recent episodes II would be the weakest in my opinion.

I've only seen Episode II once all the way through and that's when I saw it in the theater. I've tried to watch it, but I just cannot get into it.

I just watched the featurettes and I love this quote from Hayden:

Hayden: "Padmé is a very strong-willed person, and [Anakin's] not so much attracted to the power she holds in her political arenas, but rather the power and strength that she holds within herself. She's very beautiful and intelligent... I think it would be easy for anyone to fall in love with her."
