- When Novalee was spending the night at Walmart and she went into Labor. Forney saved her.
- When Sister Thelma picked her up from the hospital when Novalee realize her mother wasn't coming.
- When Forney & Novalee met for the first time. It was sweet!
- The sex scene.
- The college kiss between Forney & Novalee.

I like the college scene most, other scenes I like are when she finds Forney and Americus asleep - so sweet and when he helps her study.
