I miss them. They had such an unconditional friendship for one another. Even when he was mad at her, he had her back with her dad, and I loved that.
And I loved how Mer was there for George when his dad was sick. Just the way she hugged him when he was saying this was his dad. They had the best friendship. It is not surprising since Ellen and TR are close in real life and she had his back in real life too. __________________

I never realized how messed up it was that they slept together until now. Meredith was in such a bad place and had just seen her father - who has all of the mannerisms of George. It's as if she slept with George because he was like her father.. if that makes sense.
I did really like their friendship though. Season 1/2 George = <3. I also loved his "I'm your George" speech to her in early season 2 when he thought she picked Doc over him. I miss their season 1/2 friendship! __________________

It seems so messed up but they cast Thatcher perfectly to align with George in terms of looks and mannerisms. I thought she might have started crying once she realized that George = Thatcher.
