That's why I love how Mer was mad that he said goodbye to all the interns and not her. I shouldn't love fights but I love that scene.

I like how , even though he wasn't in the crash, he, like the others, couldn't get on the plane. Love the convo at the bar after that when Mer is video chatting with Cristina. So much like family..... I have a feeling we might be seeing a dark and twisty duo with them after Crisina leaves, but you know....as bad as it sounds, I actually like dark and twisty Mer and dark Alex.

I like angst and drama so that might be why.
