I'm pretty much already laughing at how badly this already seems to be backfiring on her She's clearly already panicking about the ratings falling below what ABC see as profitable next season (which they most likely will)

"Can't write for the character anymore" tends to mean one of the following

1. We want to use your salary for other things
2. We don't like you
3. We can't be bothered to do our jobs

I must admit, I do like that Smith felt the need to put in a good word for Shonda "she got the feeling it was dictated by the network" 'got the feeling' I highly doubt the network would have been that bothered by the casting unless a certain character was losing them ratings. I don't remember Brooke doing that.

I do believe that Chyler was forced out because Shonda didn't know how to write for Lexie anymore. She freaking died, it was her last episode, and APRIL got more screentime. She got nothing. It's horrible

She's seen the reaction and is all too quick to blame Chyler. The fact that she's repeated it shows she's desperate for people to believe her. Usually she wouldn't care that much and would have just said something like she'd already answered that.

Maybe one day she'll realise that criticism comes with being an adult. Then again...... maybe not. Even if it does happen, it won't be before her shows are cancelled.

The sad thing for her is, Greys viewers are what she has, and seeing as she seems to be alienating them, it doesn't matter what show she comes up with, without those initial viewers talking about her and her shows, it would need major promotion to do well.

Greys was her first high profile show, right? So the network would majorly promote it to get her name out there. I don't think they'd want to spend the money on the extra promotion again when she's supposed to be an established name that would automatically bring in viewers. She's screwed the show over to a point where it will likely be cancelled next year, and she's possibly screwed herself over long term.

Oh yeah people aren't going to watch another show she does, I don't think Chyler would ever audition for another show of hers. Actually she didn't even really Audition for this i think i heard that somewhere or she did but only once and then they call her saying she got the part.
