Ellen Pompeo - Winner Best lead actress in a drama series - second year running at the Italian Serial awards 2008

Ellen Pompeo made her major studio screen debut in Brad Silberling's Moonlight Mile, starring alongside Susan Sarandon, Dustin Hoffman and Jake Gyllenhaal. She received outstanding reviews for her portrayal of an outspoken young woman carrying a silent burden that's breaking her heart. A native of Boston, Pompeo was most recently seen starring opposite Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell in the wildly successful Old School and, before that, in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Prior to Moonlight Mile, Pompeo starred in several independent features, including In the Weeds and Coming Soon, and she can also be seen in the upcoming Glory Days.

Right now she's starring in the hit series 'Grey's Anatomy' as Dr. Meredith Grey.

I think we will finally be able to see Mer addressing her others issues that are much more serious than Derek.
After this SP I know for sure she is saying to Wyatt she is broken and asking to be fixed.
I wish we had more screentime of her sessions. One shot at the end and at the begining of the episode isn't enough.

I know. I agree I wish we could go in depth with the therapy. I like Dr Wyatt. shes good for mer.

And I was waiting for her to address the drawning thingy. and since Dr Wyatt had Merediths file, shouldn't she already know about the drowning?? we know that by the new sneak peek she finds out about her mom and dad issues, but nothing yet about the drawning.

Yeah, I think the biggest issue Mer has is the NDE story.
I only accept it because I thought shonda will use it to Mer development and not only as a rating plot.
So far it is nothing but rating device and I want this issue to be hugely addressed not only in therapy, but also in MD relationship because this is what destroyed Derek and caused him to freak.

so far we don't a clue about they getting to talk about this.
It is the main reason Mer should go to therapy.
I know the others issues caused her to stop fighting, but it is very important how she handles it. It is very critical and they can't ignore it on her therapy. she needs to handle this fine to move on her life.
