Can't say I care. My favorite is gone. And it's not like characters got adequate st in a two hour episode in s11 so I doubt they use their extra episode wisely.

Great news. 25 fantastic episodes more Omelia, Japril, Calzona and Meredith, Alex, Bailey, Richard and Catherine scenes and less Jo, Stephanie, Jolex scenes.

I have the same feeling.

Well at least with 25 they have more screentime so hopefully every character gets something.

An extra episode means 45 more minutes of screentime, which it can easily be used mostly by new regular characters. I don't expect any significant increased amount for the old ones.

I can see ABC making a pure financial decision: number of viewsers which translates in money comming in. As log as GA has a reasonable amount of viewers and ABC makes money they'll have the show on. I wish SR would be more interested in the quality of the show and either work on increasing the quality (which at this point for me would be the writing and a decrease/rebalance of the cast because I think the actors are doing a great job) or end it.

Wasn't Mark killed off because of budget reasons?And that was 3 years ago.Surely they have more budget now because Sandrah and Derek left but no way Grey's is a big cash cow.
More like they afraid it's gonna be the last season and that's why so many episodes are ordered.
