This is weird. Why is he already at home? I'm not familiar with the law in this case, but he almost killed DeLuca. They should at least make him accountable for this. I don't get it. But it's Shondaland. So anything can happen, even it's far-fetched.

Typical Alex, yes. But a little irresponsible too, because he should know that Mer would try to search for him when she couldn't find him in the jailhouse.

Alex finally has to decide what he wants. Is he going to jail now, or is he just hiding? And I do not understand why he was in bed with Meredith? What shoud that ? He must finally grow up and take responsibility for himself. I hope this trial will take place so that this circus is finished for all time.

He was not in bed with Meredith, he was just sleeping in her bed. Maybe he thought that's the place she would find him first when she found out that he left the jailhouse.
I'm sure we'll find out more about it next episode.

I also hope that we will learn more and that is not all about Eliza Minnck again. Only I think it's a pity, I thought Alex had grown up, but he is not. The court hearing is adjourned and Alex hides as a coward at home with Meredith. I hope so, which speaks to his conscience.

I actually think he's grown since he first showed up. The Alex from the beginning would've never turned himself in and would've denied everything. But Alex now actually turned himself in and acknowledged what happened. Could the writers have shown him regretting his actions more? Definitely. But unfortunately they didn't so it's harder for some to feel anything for him. I'll always wish the writers had given us more than they did, but what are we gonna do about it. It's already been done and there's no fixing it up now.

I think it is a pity that Alex can not develop further, but that is also determined by the women with whom he was together. And just Jo makes it very difficult for him.
