I actually loved that Alex was sweet in the scene with Callie, because he never really liked her. He changed, old Alex would have never felt bad for Callie. And the Alex and Mer scene at the end is one of my favorites. I do love that they ended up being by one another.

The sweetest thing is that he called her Callie instead of Torres. I think it was the first time he called her by her first name.
