Reminders:
This is a general episode discussion thread so everyone is welcome to post in it.

We would just like to request that we respect each other's opinions and ships and
keep criticisms constructive. Thank you.

Grey's Anatomy Board Rules:
~ For the same reason, we are requesting everyone to please do not discuss 'opposing fanbases' in the threads, whether they're in or elsewhere. We all love the show so let us keep our discussions to the show and its characters.

~ Criticisms about the show and its characters are welcome in the threads as long as they're kept constructive. No character-bashing, please, especially in the episode threads. Constructive criticisms are different from bashing. We should learn to distinguish between the two. Be mindful of other posters who may like the character we're talking about. Let's keep in mind that we may have a right to post our thoughts but other people do too. If we want people to respect our opinions, let us learn to respect others too.

~ Do not call a ship and/or character by a negative association label. Since season two and on these words have been used in a character/ship bashing manner: MurDer, Bobble Head(Denny), Gizzard, Gizziegate, Grizzie, Izzme, Callous, and etc. These names are considered to be character and/or ship bashing which is something we do not tolerate on this board. So from now call the ships and/or characters by their names, and not names give to them by negative association.

~ No actor or writer-bashing, please. This is a rule. We are all welcome to criticize the characters and the stories but making negative personal comments about the actors, the creator or the writers are unacceptable. Unless we know these people personally, we have no right to talk negatively about their personal lives, even in a speculative way. Let's keep our comments to the fiction part of the show, shall we?

~ Shipper wars are also not allowed at or at this site. We believe there is no competition between the ships each show so there's no need to bash each other's ships. We like that people are so passionate about their ships and we appreciate the time and effort that you spend posting about them. We'd like to keep it that way.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask Wala or Mai.

It's sad I knew what they were gonna name their son after they named their daughter. Seriously.

No bueno. Anyways, I am feeling meh about the episode.

I just had to say I thought this episode was so impressive . . . one of the better-balanced episodes in a long, long time.

Alex's case was just heartbreaking, and I think Justin was quite amazing. He really hit the mark. I really felt for Alex.

I liked the Bailey/Meredith sub plot a lot!

It was super predictable, and Shonda's political agenda is speaking louder and louder. Of course the son died and the daughter lived. The only thing that wasn't predictable was Maggie and the intern, and I have to roll my eyes at that.

Bailey's right, though. Richard has always coddled Meredith, since day 1.

Wait so Jo isn't pregnant?

Was she just hormonal or something because I couldn't quite figure it out.

~*~*~

Maggie was hilarious at the house.

~*~*~

Speaking of the house, love that open space they created when knocking down the wall. It really livens up the place.

~*~*~

Alex- by far Justin's best episode (and he's had a lot).

@Ron_Beckett: She found the record of Izzie and Alex's frozen embryos and was freaking out because Alex wanted to have kids with Izzie and she didn't think he wanted his kids with her, which made absolutely no sense to me because in 10x12 when he 'proposed' he said he wanted to have kids with her. Apparently she (and the writers) forgot about that.

Okay. They didn't make that clear enough. I thought she was going to tell him that she was pregnant but then she found that and made a bigger deal over that so opted not to tell him.

And then that final scene in the apartment when Alex said yes to wanting to make babies or whatever and wanting to get started I thought Jo would stop him and tell him that she all ready was.

I quite like not being spoiled any more because I had no idea this was an Alex-centric episode. It was more centric that his supposed "centric" where he did the voiceover and had like 3 scenes. I really liked his SL although the painfully obvious yellow dolls were distracting! Specially because Grey's is usually very good with props and make-up.

I don't agree with Bailey's method of feminism. Women shouldn't have to fight to get what's fair. I get that she wants Mer to speak up, but still, that's no reason to screw her over if she had decided not to.

It was a very good episode overall. I don't think there was something I didn't like. Except for the yellow dolls It went by very quickly to me so that's a good sign.

I think they try too hard to make Maggie cool or cute but she isn't really making it work. I have no idea why that is the case for me.

The thing is, I think they're trying to make her better and more compatible with Meredith than Lexie. She was never a Lexie 2.0, she will never be a better sister to Meredith than Lexie was. They tried Maggie/Alex last season, before Lexie got with Mark she was with Alex. Lexie/Alex had more chemistry, but that relationship obviously failed because Alex was not over Izzie. But still, Lexie/Alex was better than all those Maggie/Alex implications or even their friendship.

Nicole, now you've mentioned what you've mentioned to me on FB and in this thread, you are right. I am not seeing it from the point where I am in the series now (season 3) but I will definitely be on the lookout.

I think 12x04 will be the first episode I won't watch live. 12x01-12x03 I wanted to because there was something that held my interest. But 12x04, I don't think so.

Maggie is so annoying, but she's Shonda favorite ..writers try by all means to make nice and have a SL .does not work on me. Prefer lexie, she was more fresh and not forced to be nice..
