The thing is, I think they're trying to make her
better and more compatible with Meredith than Lexie. She was never a Lexie 2.0, she will never be a better sister to Meredith than Lexie was. They tried Maggie/Alex last season, before Lexie got with Mark she was with Alex. Lexie/Alex had more chemistry, but that relationship obviously failed because Alex was not over Izzie. But still, Lexie/Alex was better than all those Maggie/Alex implications or even their friendship.
Nicole, now you've mentioned what you've mentioned to me on FB and in this thread, you are right. I am not seeing it from the point where I am in the series now (season 3) but I will definitely be on the lookout.
I think 12x04 will be the first episode I won't watch live. 12x01-12x03 I wanted to because there was something that held my interest. But 12x04, I don't think so.
