I keep hearing the excuse of scheduling...they don't have to be in every episode or every other episode. There could be something that could get worked out....

The issue is they're both heavily in their respective shows, so it's not as easy to get them to cross over as much. They're not a vital relationship like Gabby/Antonio were or like Will/Jay are, so the writers aren't going to make as much of an effort.
