That was a gooooood Linstead episode...teamwork, back up, respect, admiration, hints of an affection, meaningful smiles, especially from Jay's side, her saving his life and him being there for her.

They also at the end looked over at Voights office when they stepped closer to each other. It shows that they really are keeping distance because of him.

Yeah I noticed that.....Taking that some time has passed since they've been in this unit and they proved their worth and intelligence and wisdom many times, I wonder what would Voight say if they like went to him saying they want to be together...

They had been perfect together. I think Voight is going to make it hard for them.

Could be that they will try to make it work between them and have something secret going on and Voight finds out and we will get them seperated.

This episode though confirmed for me that Jay may have feelings towards her. Even Charlie saw it.

Oh he def is carrying a torch for Erin... And I loved that they wrote this line for Charlie saying to Erin how even mention of her name does things to Halstead.

He really cares for her. I think he might break rules for her too. They have grown in one episode and I finally have seen them have each other's backs. I will take that over them getting together in a couple episodes any day because they are having experiences together.

That was a perfect episode for them. You can really tell they have feelings for each other after their last scene! Damn a hug or near kiss would have been perfect but you can't win them all.

They do....and it's especially great to watch Jay being all...available for whatever she needs even with their plan to keep it professional and her having a boyfriend. Which btw is kind of nonexistent tbh...

They may have boyfriends and girlfriends but they are the ones that save each other's lives everyday and I can see them growing closer and that bond getting deeper for them. I like that. Jay and Erin have started off as partners, grown into friends and they have feelings there. Erin has let Jay in more than most and he always is careful to protect her. I loved his reaction when Charlie talked about Erin. You really can see it in his eyes that he cares for her.
