I love friendships between man and woman. My best friend is a man and no we don't have anything else going on, but friendship. While rarely I do think that a man and woman could be friends so it's good when I see this manifesting in a TV show/movie.

I am only ever friends with guys, so I love seeing great platonic male/female relationships. (Also why it irks me that it always has to lead to romance on some shows). Gabby/Severide are a great example of that it definitely can work.

I agree that this is a perfect example of why Burgess/Roman should remain friends/partners. Aside from having absolutely no chemistry they are great partners and I'd love to see their friendship develop as Gabby/Severide did.
