Yes, she was vague most likely because she doesn't know. It's not her job to negotiate with him, all she knows is that "he'll be back". Whether or not he actually joins the cast or just becomes a permanent "Special Guest Star" is up to his agent and whoever from the WB is negotiating.

Logan deserves to be made a regular... Lets just hope that the negotiators see that :crosses fingers: I would so love to see Matt's name in the opening credits with out Special Guest Star in front of them.
