I don't use my twitter for fandom stuff at all so whenever I venture over to look at that stuff I'm SHOCKED. And people are really nasty tonight!

I've actually never talked to anyone about GG over there because of the trolls that jump on every tweet. But I can't even do my normal searches right now because of all the nastiness.

from what I've read, the new poster is NOT a fan of Logan. When asked if she thought if he would be significant in the other episodes she said she hoped not.

The cheating thing just has me unsettled. Why start them so negatively if we're meant to root for them to be endgame? What is everyone else's thoughts on this?

I'm very, very confused about it. It sounds like Paul is played off as a joke...I don't understand that at all. Are people just not supposed to care that Rory is cheating? I really don't understand what ASP is going for with that.

the way the boyfriend was explained by the first thread of spoilers made it sound like it wasn't a serious relationship on Rory's end, and that its a running joke that he's always forgotten or something. If it's truly kind of a joke of a relationship, I'd be okay. But I'm going to need to see it first to really be able to work out my feeling about it. I do find it weird how ASP always has Rory cheating on guys in one way or another. I was kind of hoping she'd steer clear of this this time around

I'm confused about that too. I guess it could be a mean spirited joke in tone reminiscent of Lorelai and Sookie try to buy the inn at a funeral. Did anybody ever ask if Rory felt or acted guilty, if the show took her actions at all seriously. or just lol forgot about that guy?

I saw someone had asked if Rory felt guilty or whatever, but it wasn't answered. Both threads did say Paul was some kind of a gag. Maybe it's something getting lost in translation? It also sounds like Rory is the one who came up with this idea of being gen and Logan is none the wiser about Paul. Soooo strange and not what I was expecting.

Ugh. I just hope they don't write them completely toxic just to get to a Single Rory outcome the end of the show. That would only tarnish my memories and give vindication to stupid Logan haters.

I agree. The one girl seemed to think this was setting them up as endgame. My fear is that they'll somehow make the Rory/Logan FWB thing a way to drive Rory to Jess.
