Yeah, I've always assumed all racist killers were bred in bigoted households. But there was that guy who murdered a homeless black man in NYC a few years back because he was incensed at seeing an interracial couple. And it turned out he was raised in a very democratic household and attended a school that preached equality. He just rejected their values as a form of rebellion and turned to neo-nazi sites.

I'm pretty sure the Buffalo shooter didn't come from a racist household - he said his family would be horrified if they knew how he felt at one point. He got radicalized online.
