She was the most flawed character. She was an alcoholic and had depression. And the writers set a great example..."Let's not fix her and show all the kids that you can recover from these vices. Let's just kill her off and then we'll wrap up her story with a big red bow"

I know! They could have done all kinds of storylines with her. Eating disorders, cutting her wrist. Dealing with alcoholism and depression.
