OT #134: As a doctor, you would not tell a patient they have cancer.

Title credit goes to The Office. Hee.

Carry on!

This is why watching shows with you sucks. You push and push and push, and then I watch, and then you get all unappreciative and snarky. Wench

This is why watching shows with YOU sucks. You start watching something and then it's 24/7.

Then feel free to stop suggesting shows to me, Miss "Watch Lost! Watch Brothers and Sisters! Watch House! Watch Ugly Betty!" It's not my fault your list of TV shows that you watch can wallpaper your room and you can't focus on just one at a time

LMAO. That's probably the problem. I watch too many shows, making it hard to become obsessed with one. *smiles*

We need to never talk about TV shows together. Ever. I have Amy and Erica and Jacky and Mel for Office talk. Screw you.

Jess, you and I have the opposite problem. I get WAY obsessed. But Liz's Office obsession is feeding mine.

Although, I randomly watched two S1 episodes from DC last night and it was awesome. Too bad I know the rest of the show pretty much sucked. That and it's cancelled. So Office will be my main obsession Fall '07.

Well, also, the last time I was obsessed with a show, I was screwed over in every way possible.

Fair point. I really hope they don't screw The Office up.

But yes, I've never been 100% pleased with the ending of any television show I've been obsessed with. Veronica Mars is probably the best out of them all, and that's saying something.

It's weird. I always get stuff in-between, but I never get paid off in the end.

Yeah, same here.

That is why, if I ever write a television show, I'm going to know who ends up with who on conception. They may not hook up in the first episode or even get together for a few seasons, but I'm going to know and the audience is going to know. Of course I don't know everything about the business and really don't know if that's plausible but I sure as hell am going to try.

I just know that I wouldn't mislead viewers. If I want to kill someone off three years later, there's going to be a line in the Pilot that goes, "So-and-so, you will die in three years."
