Her parents allowed him to buy her expensive clothes and a car, but I'm relieved they adamantly declined his request for her to join him on tour.

Yeah, because the sickest thing is that so often, parents will just like...hand kids oer to celebs who are grooming them.

And he met her through his other stepbrother who 20 at the time. Who also didn't have any business palling around with a 14 year old girl. Smh. Anyway, Elvis' health concerns frightened her and she realized she wasn't equipped to handle them, so she ghosted him. I'm glad she was wise enough to get herself out of that situation.

I think so re: Celine. It seems her parents handed her straight over to her eventual husband. Early pictures of them are grossssssss. Sorry, I know he's dead, but it doesn't make it less gross.
