It pretty much is. LOL. I liked Extreme Home Makeover, where they gave a hard-up family a house. But that's about it. Even the cooking ones make me nervous because they're so mean to each other.

I watched the original Big Brother (British version), way back when. But that was a new idea at the time. 12 members of the public, total strangers, locked in a house and recorded 24/7. It was so addictive, and not without drama, thanks to "Nasty Nick" Bateman.

Can't believe that was 20 years ago!

I sort of remember The Real World, but I never watched it. And Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's show, but I didn't watch that either. Sigh. This reality TV really took off more than I wanted it to, lol.

The closest I never got to watching the Real World was a skit on the Chappelle Show, lol

Someone on the...I want to say New Orleans version apparently looked like me - I remember vividly because I was working at Blockbuster Video at the time (I know - dating myself with that reference) and customers kept commenting on it. That is legit the most I know about it, lol, and I can't remember her name.

So that would have been 2001-2002, I guess. Well, I started working there in 2000, but I feel like it was later on. I don't even remember when that show stopped. Hell, you could tell me it didn't and I'd probably believe you, lol. Reality TV and sports. Two things I am clueless about.

I only know about sports players when they get in trouble with the law, basically. Well, sometimes if they really do something cool outside of sports, but not as often.

Same with Rugby League players down here, lol

Rugby Union players on the other hand barely get in any trouble

I wonder what it is about certain sports, lol. Celebrity of any kind can lead to a sense that you are above the law, but it seems more prevalent in some sports than others.
